Welcome your new students back with a smile and try this!
2 truths 1 lie...
Ask students to state two truths about themselves and 1 lie...
You should then through some clever questioning figure out the lie!
The reason I do this, is at the end of the activity I can say to the students... 'no point lying to me EVER, as that activity was to figure out your facial reactions, body language and tone of voice!'
